Southeast MO State holds job fair for students

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Students had an opportunity to introduce themselves to more than 100 employers on Thursday, Oct. 8 at Southeast Missouri State University's job fair.

Students met with employers from 11 a.m. til 3 p.m.

Some employers even held on the spot interviews.

We spoke with the director of career services Michele Tapp who said having this event is a huge advantage for students.

"It's usually internships and full time jobs that they're looking to fill," Tapp said. "It's such a fantastic opportunity for our students to literately walk across the street and have an opportunity to engage with over 100 employers."

There will be another university job fair held sometime in the spring semester.
