2nd SEMO football player out for season with injury

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A second Southeast Missouri State University football player is out for the season for an ACL tear.

Sophomore wide receiver Adrian Davis is out for the season with a ACL tear, according to Southeast Sports Information Director Jeff Honza.

Sophomore nose tackle Josh Wilson has a ACL tear and is out for Saturday's game against Eastern Illinois. Wilson is undergoing further evaluation. It's undetermined at this time if he is out for the season.

This makes the third Redhawk to go down to an ACL tear this season.

Earlier in the season, SEMO announced in September that starting tailback DeMichael Jackson will miss the rest of the 2015 season due to a torn ACL.

Jackson had an MRI and found he has a torn ACL in his right knee, according to the university. He was scheduled to have surgery on Sept. 28.
