KY 453 near I-24 in Livingston Co. reopened after crash with hazardous chemicals

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

KY 453 in Livingston County has reopened after a semi crash involving hazardous chemicals.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the site is clear and all lanes on KY 453/Dover Road, along with all ramps, are open.

KY 453 and all four ramps at the Interstate 24 Exit 31 Interchange were closed for chemical containers to be recovered.

A semi southbound on KY 453 crashed with a semi accessing KY 453 from the ramp. 

A couple of containers of hazardous materials fell off of one of the trucks. However, there were no reported leaks.
