Police: No one in custody in connection with stabbing

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Paducah police are investigating a stabbing that happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

According to police, the stabbing happened in the area of North 6th and Finley Streets.

They say they were called to a disturbance and when they arrived, they found a 58-year-old Paducah man had been stabbed during a dispute.

Several witnesses were interviews by police. No one is in custody.

As of Thursday, Oct. 1, police say the man has been stabilized and remains at an area hospital.

Due to the nature and various aspects of the investigation, police say they are not able to release much information at this time.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
