A Poplar Bluff, Missouri man has been arrested in connection with an arson investigation.
Wade Stoutt, 50, was charged with two counts of second degree arson, making a terrorist threat and aggravated stalking.
According to Poplar Bluff police, on the morning of Monday, Sept. 28, they and the Poplar Bluff Fire Department were dispatched to two separate fires reported in the 1500 block of South 10th Street and the 900 block of Peach Street.
Police say a preliminary scene investigation suggested that both fires were intentionally set.
On Tuesday, Sept. 29, police were dispatched to the Eagles Lodge located in the 1400 block of South Broadway in reference to a reported bomb threat.
According to employees, a male caller claimed to have placed explosive devices inside the building; and he threatened to detonate them.
A short time later, Stoutt was taken into custody without incident in the 900 block of Mulberry Street.
