VIRAL VIDEO: Perryville girl re-writes song asking boyfriend to Homecoming

PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

Asking a boy or girl to a school dance sure isn't what it used to be.

Alysann Cooper of Perryville, Missouri decided to play a song over a video of candles spelling out "Homecoming?"

The song Cooper sings is a rewrite of Sam Smith's "Stay With Me."

She posted the video on Facebook.

She said she came up with the idea with the help of her big sister, Breanna.

You can click here to watch the video on Cooper's Facebook page.
