MoDOT plans construction in Dunklin Co.

DUNKLIN COUNTY (KFVS) -

If you live in Dunklin County and will be affected by a proposed Missouri Department of Transportation project, now's your chance to request a public hearing on the matter.

In the spring of 2016, MoDOT plans to start construction on Route HH, roughly one mile east of the intersection between Route HH and Route 153 in Dunklin County.

The project includes replacing the bridge over Main Ditch with a double box culvert.

Anyone affected by the project may request that a public hearing be held in regard to the proposed construction. Requests must be in writing and be submitted to District Engineer Mark Shelton at: P.O. Box 160, Sikeston, MO, 63801 by October 31, 2015.

Maps, plans, and other information prepared by MoDOT are available for you to peruse and copy at MoDOT's Sikeston office at 2675 N. Main Street.
