One of the most talented players to come to Murray State in many years, will be eligible to play in 2004-'05 after sitting out last season...Transferred to MSU from Mississippi a year ago...Will likely start at one of the guard positions and will be a candidate for All-OVC honors, as well as OVC Newcomer of the Year...Handles and shoots the ball extremely well and could play either the point or shooting guard positions...Quickness and athleticism should make him an excellent fit in the Racers' up-tempo attack...Gained strength during the last year in the Racers' strength and conditioning program...Hails from nearby South Fulton, Tenn., which is less than 50 miles from Murray.

High School...Named Tennessee's Class A Mr. Basketball for 2001-02...Started all four years at South Fulton and earned Tennessee All-State honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...Was also an All-Region and All-District pick all four years...Led Red Devils to a 99-20 record in his four seasons...Finished his career with 2,485 points for a scoring average on 20.9 ppg...Averaged 29.5 points per game as a senior with 5.6 steals and 5.1 assists...Netted over 40 points in four games...Following his senior season he was selected to play in the Tennessee-Georgia High School All-Star Game and finished with a game-high 30 points...As a junior, averaged 25.2 ppg, 10.4 rpg and helped lead South Fulton to the Tennessee state finals...In Class A semifinal game, set a tournament record by scoring 50 points, including 23 points in one quarter...As a sophomore scored 24.7 ppg and helped lead South Fulton to the Tennessee State Class A state title...Earned state tournament MVP honors as a sophomore...As a freshman he averaged 16.0 ppg and 6.8 rpg.
