MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A young McCracken County, Kentucky man sought by police for nearly two months has been arrested.

Mark C. Stigger, 19, was arrested on warrants charging him with first degree burglary and contempt of court for failure to appear and failing to pay.

According to police, an officer stopped to investigate after he said some people in a car appeared to be avoiding him on Sunday afternoon.

Stigger was a passenger in the car. Police say a computer check revealed the warrants for Stigger's arrest.

Stigger is accused of breaking into a home in Paducah on July 17.

He was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
