Centralia, IL woman pleaded guilty to drug charges

CENTERVILLE, IL (KFVS) -

A Centralia, Illinois woman recently pleaded guilty to multiple drug charges.

Rachel L. Reeve, 24, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture and distribute meth and possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture meth. These charges were returned against her by a federal grand jury in East St. Louis, Ill. in November 2014.

According to court documents, the incident happened between December 2012 and February 21, 2014, in Marion, Clinton and Jefferson Counties.

During this time, the documents say Reeve received and provided pills containing pseudoephedrine to others who made meth, and she knew the pills would be used for that purpose.

The documents say she generally got cash in exchange for the pills, which she used to support her own drug habit.

The investigation was conducted by the FBI, the Marion County Sheriff's Office and the Clinton County Sheriff's Department, assisted by the Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team and the Centralia Police Department.

The case is being handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Kit Morrissey.
