Paducah police seeking public's help in finding wallet thief

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Paducah police are seeking the public’s help in finding a woman who stole a wallet from the check-out counter at Banks Market on August 13.

A Paducah woman told police she left her wallet on the check-out counter next to the credit card machine.

Surveillance video shows the next customer, a woman with curly, shoulder-length blonde hair, picking up the wallet with a bag of purchases.

Anyone with information about the woman’s identity is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270/444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL.

Tipsters also may access the online tip form through the City of Paducah website at http://paducahky.gov/paducah/west-ky-crime-stoppers.

Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
