Redhawks women's basketball announces 2015-16 schedule

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

First-year head coach Rekha Patterson has announced Southeast Missouri's 2015-16 women's basketball schedule and will feature 15 home games in the newly renovated Show Me Center.

The Show Me Center underwent an extensive renovation over the summer which included a new center-hung video board, all-new telescopic seating, as well as improvements to the lighting and sound systems.

The 29-game regular-season schedule features 13 home games and 16 road games. Southeast will play eight OVC games at home and the other eight on the road.

The OVC slate will begin New Year's Eve when the Belmont Bruins come to Cape Girardeau.

The seven other conference home games include Tennessee State, Jacksonville State, UT Martin, Austin Peay, Murray State, Eastern Illinois, and SIUE.

The annual Hall of Fame game will be Feb. 20 when the Redhawks take on Eastern Illinois.

Fans can view all regular-season home and conference games for free on the OVC Digital Network and listen to broadcasts on SEMO ESPN 1220 AM.
