Cardinals activate Matt Holliday from Disabled list

The St. Louis Cardinals have activated outfielder Matt Holliday from the 15-day disabled list prior to Tuesday night's game with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Holliday missed the past 41 games since going on the the disabled list July 30 with a right quadriceps strain.

In 63 games this season, Holliday is batting .290 with 4 HR'S and 31 RBI.
