MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Two Kentucky men were injured Monday afternoon when they hit another vehicle and were ejected from the car they were in.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a two vehicle, injury collision at the intersection of Old US 45 and Lebanon Church Road Monday at around 12:30 p.m.

Donnie Siress, 52, of Benton, Ky., was traveling east bound on Lebanon Church Road approaching the intersection of Old US 45.

Bradley Hall, 53, of Paducah, Ky., was traveling north bound on Old US 45 in a tractor and trailer.

When Siress came to the intersection he drove through it, failing to stop at a stop sign, and drove into the side of the trailer portion of Hall’s vehicle.

The impact spun Siress’ vehicle, ejecting both Siress and his passenger, Edward Frye, 50, of Mayfield, Ky., out the passenger side window.

Neither Siress or Frye were wearing their seat belt at the time of the collision.

Both were both transported by Mercy Regional EMS to local hospitals for incapacitating injuries.

The Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Lone Oak Fire Department.
