This week in music: 1985

(KFVS) -

Let's head back to the days of the Rubik's Cube, PacMan and music videos.

We're talking about the 1980s and these were the songs being played on the radio this week in 1985.

Billboard's Hot 100 had Bryan Adams at number five with "Summer of 69."

1985 featured a big comeback for Aretha Franklin. Her hit "Freeway of Love" was in the number four position.

Tina Turner checked in at number three with "We Don't Need Another Hero" which was the theme song from the movie "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome."

Huey Lewis and the News was at number two with "The Power of Love." That song was written for the movie "Back to the Future" but was not included in the film.

Another movie theme was in the top spot. "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)" was John Parr's first and only number one hit.
