1 injured in McCracken Co. rollover crash

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

One person was injured on Wednesday in McCracken County after the car they were traveling in exited the road and flipped over.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jamie Morgan, 31, was traveling northbound on Cairo Road.

An investigation showed that Morgan crossed over into oncoming traffic and left the roadway.

When Morgan’s vehicle left the road, he struck two utilities poles, causing his vehicle to go sideways.

His vehicle then flipped over, traveled several more feet and came to rest at the edge of a pond.

Morgan was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Mercy EMS and West McCracken and Concord FD assisted on scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
