Morley man accused of hitting, dragging girlfriend

MORLEY, MO (KFVS) -

A Morley man faces a domestic assault charge. 

Timothy Q. Ingram Senior, 52, of Morley faces a charge of Class C Felony of domestic assault.

The Scott County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic assault at 405 Marquand in Morley on Sunday.

The victim told deputies she had been in an argument with her live in boyfriend, Timothy Ingram. She said she was sitting in a chair and Ingram approached her, grabbed her by the hair, and dragged her down the hallway. She tried get away, but Ingram allegedly struck her in the eye and mouth with his fist.

The victim had swelling to her right eye and upper lip. Her right wrist had a small scratch.

Ingram told deputies that he never assaulted the woman and that she punched herself.

Ingram was arrested and taken to the Scott County Jail where he was booked pending the filing of formal charges.

His bond was set by the court at $1,500 cash and no contact with the victim.
