Multiple buildings catch fire in Parma

PARMA, MO (KFVS) -

Several fire crews worked to put out a building fire in Parma overnight.

According to the New Madrid County Sheriff's Department, the Parma and Gideon fire departments were dispatched to Broad Street around 9:20 p.m. on Thursday.

The sheriff's department reports multiple unoccupied buildings caught on fire.

No one was injured during the incident.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Fire crews were able to put out the fire by 3 a.m. on Friday.

    The person of interest in the double-murder and bank robbery in Conway on Monday is in custody. Brandon MIchael Council was arrested in Greenville, North Carolina Wednesday, along with two other people, authorities there confirmed.  Brandon Michael Council was wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of two CresCom bank employees during a bank robbery at the CresCom Bank in Conway on Monday afternoon.
