2.5M earthquake shakes southeast Missouri

STEELE, MO (KFVS) -

A  2.5 magnitude earthquake hit parts of southeast Missouri just before 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

It was centered 3 miles east of Steele, Mo. and 13 miles northeast of Blytheville, Ark.

A preliminary earthquake report by CERI at the University of Memphis measures the quake at 2.5 magnitude and 5 miles deep.
