Farmington police look for bank robbery suspect

FARMINGTON, MO (KFVS) -

The Farmington Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at First Bank around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

Police are looking for the suspect in the picture.

According to police, the bank is located on Weber Road.

Police say at about 3:03 p.m., the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and passed a note demanding money. They say he did not show a weapon.

According to police, the suspect ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and was later seen from a surveillance video getting into a dark gray Dodge, extended cab truck with tinted windows.

Police say the truck went south on Maple Valley Drive and west on Karsch Blvd., toward Highway 67.

The suspect was described as a white male, about 25 to 35 years old, 5' 8" tall and 165 pounds. He was wearing a white, long-sleeve Under Armour shirt, camouflage hat, black pants and dark shoes.

Along with police, the St. Louis office of the FBI is investigating.
