GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Graves County sheriff's deputies responded to a motorcycle and SUV crash on Monday, Aug. 24 on U.S. 45 South.

According to Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, at about 12 p.m. deputies were called to the crash at the entrance to the Dairyman Supply company.

He said William Norath, of St. Charles, Mo., was going north on U.S. 45 when he turned into the entrance to Dairyman's. He said Norath then pulled back out into the path of a motorcycle that was driven by Larry Satterwhite of Wingo.

Satterwhite's motorcycle hit the driver's side of Norath's vehicle.

Sheriff Redmon said the motorcycle and rider came to a rest in the ditch on the west side of the road.

Satterwhite was taken to the helicopter pad at an area hospital and flown to a Nashville hospital.

Neither Norath, nor his passenger, were injured.

The sheriff's office was assisted by the Mayfield Fire Department, Mayfield/Graves County EMS and the Wingo Fire Department.
