Charleston, MO man accused of kidnapping, sodomy

CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) -

A Charleston, Missouri man is accused of kidnapping a woman and beating her.

Timothy Lamont Easton, 47, was charged with kidnapping, domestic assault and sodomy.

His bond was set at $250,000 cash only.

According to Robert Hearnes, director of Charleston DPS, on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 23, they received a report of a domestic assault.

Officers say a woman was allegedly held against her will by Easton at a Charleston home and beaten.

Easton also allegedly tried to force the victim to have sex with him.

Easton is currently at the Mississippi County Jail.
