SUV hits and seriously injures Mo. teen in St. Francois Co.

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A Missouri teen is seriously injured after he was hit by a small SUV late Sunday night in St. Francois County.

It happened on Highway 32 at Elaina Lane around 10:23 p.m.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 49-year-old James Falch, of Farmington, was driving a 2005 Ford Escape eastbound on Highway 32 when a 17-year-old male walked into the path of the SUV and was hit.

The teen, also, from Farmington, was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in serious condition.

There is no update to the teen's condition at this time.

Falch was not hurt in the crash.

His SUV reportedly has extensive damage.
