Man accused of drug possession after police serve bench warrant

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

A man is facing drug charges after Paducah police went to arrest him for a bench warrant and allegedly found drugs.

Wesley G. Aldridge, 35, was arrested on a Graves Co. warrant charging him with contempt of court and on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

According to police, they went to his home in the 1900 block of Jackson Street on Tuesday, Aug. 18 to serve the bench warrant.

In the living room of the home, police allegedly found marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Aldridge was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
