Mt. Vernon teen accused of possessing cocaine

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

A Mt. Vernon teen is behind bars in Jackson, accused of possessing cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

According to the Jackson Police Department, officers stopped a car driven by 19-year-old Lesa Oliver on Monday, August 17th.

During the stop, officers found cocaine and other drug paraphernalia in her car.

Oliver faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Her bond is set at $25,000.
