Fan information for Southeast's season-opener at Missouri

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The official start of the 2015 football campaign is a little over two weeks away and Southeast Missouri's Department of Athletics would like to take this time to share important information with its fans regarding the Redhawks season-opener at Missouri on Sept. 5.

Although the Department of Athletics will not be hosting an official tailgate party, fans, alumni and parents can meet at a designated location prior to kickoff.

Fans are encouraged to park and meet on the top level of the Virginia Avenue Parking Garage (View Map).

Food, drinks, coolers, chairs and canopies are welcome at this special gathering place.

Parking is free at the Virginia Avenue Garage which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Memorial Stadium. A shuttle stop is available just south of the garage. The parking garage is equipped with an elevator.

Tickets for Southeast's visiting team section are available for purchase at the Southeast Athletics Ticket Office. Tickets are $45 each and include a $5 service charge per order. Call (573) 651-2113 or visit the Athletics Ticket Office located at 1221 Broadway next to Imo's Pizza.

Don't forget to wear red and black to cheer on the Redhawks in their first matchup with the Tigers since 2008.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. and the game will air live on the SEC Network (alt.).
