First Alert: Mild this morning, weekend warm-up starts now

Good morning, it’s Friday, August 14, 2015.

It won’t be quite as cool this morning as you head to the bus stop, but still nice and cool for this time of year. Brian’s First Alert Forecast shows some of us will again see patches of fog as the sun comes up. Once it burns off, expect today to be mostly sunny and a little warmer to start your weekend. But be ready…by the time you head to work on Monday, you’ll be facing more typical August-like heat and humidity.

Firefighter Rescued from China Explosion Site: Rescuers pulled out a firefighter who was trapped for 32 hours after responding to a fire and huge explosions in the Chinese port city of Tianjin as authorities moved forward gingerly dealing with a fire still smoldering amid potentially dangerous chemicals.
