WWE raising money for families of NYC fallen heroes

World Wrestling Entertainment is tag teaming with athletes and celebrities to raise money for the families of fallen emergency responders in New York City.

Now through Tuesday, August 25, fans can bid online to win once-in-a-life time experiences. The money raised for the auction supports "Answer the Call," an organization that provides financial assistance to the families of New York City emergency workers who were killed in the line of duty.

"WWE is committed to using the power of our brand to improve the lives of families around the world," Stephanie McMahon, WWE's Chief Brand Officer said. "We are proud to support 'Answer the Call' and the families of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect their city."

The auction features several exclusive experiences including a meet and greet with WWE Superstar John Cena during an episode of Monday Night Raw. Fans can also bid on an experience with Hockey Hall of Famer Mark Messier.

Messier is also the Vice President of Community Affairs for the charity organization. He said the partnership with the WWE "will ensure that we continue to provide a network of support and financial assistance for those who have lost a loved one in the line of duty."

The online auction closes at 12 p.m. EST on August 25. For more information or to bid on an item visit www.charitybuzz.com/wwe
