Man, woman wanted in connection to car stereo thefts

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

The Paducah Police Department is working to identify a man and woman accused of breaking into two cars on Paducah's south side on Tuesday morning.

The two suspects are described as a white male with a "buzz" haircut and a white female with blonde hair in a ponytail. They both appear to be in their late 20s.

According to police, the pair was driving what appeared to be a 2000-2005 model, dark blue, Ford Expedition. They allegedly pulled up next to vehicles on the parking lots of two businesses and stole stereos from the vehicles.

Police say the thefts took less than 2 minutes, according to surveillance video.

They say both of the vehicles were unlocked.

Police are reminding citizens to always lock their vehicles.
