2 men wanted in connection with Sikeston shooting

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) -

Sikeston Department of Public Safety is looking for two men in connection with a shooting on July 30.

According to police, on July 30, around 4 p.m., they received a call for shots fired in the 500 block of John R. Blvd. When officers arrived at the scene, they say they found several casings in the road near Monte Circle and John R. Blvd.

Police say they were told two men, identified as 20-year-old Orlando "TJ" Sheron and 23-year-old Dewayne Harris, Jr., were shooting at each other at the intersection.

They say neither man is thought to have been hit during the incident.

The two men now have arrest warrants out of Scott County.

Sheron was charged with first degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. His bond was set at $50,000 cash only.

Harris was charged with first degree assault and armed criminal action. His bond was seat at $50,000 cash only.

Both men are from Sikeston. Police say they have information that they may be hiding out in nearby cities.

All information can remain anonymous, according to police. They say a cash reward is eligible to anyone who has information leading to their arrest.
