CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

An 18-year-old man is facing felony charges after he allegedly exchanged gunfire with officers in Ferguson, Missouri on Sunday night, Aug. 9.

Tyrone Harris was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Authorities say the gun used in the shooting was stolen from Cape Girardeau. It's a semi-automatic 9mm.

According to Cape Girardeau police, someone stolen it from a home in the 800 block of Themis in January 2014, along with some jewelry.

Police say no one has been arrested for the crime. They're also not saying if Tyrone Harris is a suspect in the theft.
