ADVANCE, MO (KFVS) -

A man from Advance, Mo. has been arrested in connection to child porn charges.

The Stoddard County Sheriff's Department says Darrell Dewayne Meador Jr., of Advance, was arrested on a warrant for possession and control of child pornography.

Bond was set at $5,000.

Meador remains in the Stoddard County Jail.

According to court documents, on Sept. 15, 2014, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip from Microsoft Corp. reporting an email address associated with Meador had uploaded 33 images depicting child port to a Microsoft Skydrive account.

The documents say the images showed prepubescent girls engaged in sexual acts and/or showed their genitalia.

A subpoena was served on Microsoft and an address affiliated with the account was given.

On March 16, a search warrant was authorized and served for the search of the contents and records relating to the email and Skydrive accounts.

On May 19, Microsoft Corp. provided the contents and records relating to the email and Skydrive accounts.

According to court documents, a review of the of the Skydrive account revealed it contained two folders. Documents say one folder was labeled "Saved Pictures" and contained 34 images that clearly depicted child porn.

On June 1 authorities got a federal search warrant on Meador's home on North Short Street in Advance, Mo. It authorized a search of the home for all computers, computer hardware, wireless telephones and digital media.

The search warrant was served on June 8. Court documents say a cell phone, two X-Box game consoles and an additional X-Box hard drive were seized.

Meador was also interviewed on June 8. During the interview, authorities say he admitted to having child porn. He allegedly said that he preferred to see images featuring "little girls."

According to court documents, Meador said he looked at child porn as recently as two days before the execution of the search warrant. They say he estimated that he had at least 500 images of child porn.

Throughout the interview, authorities say Meador denied touching minor children in any sexual or inappropriate way. They say he agreed to take a polygraph test.

On June 10 arrangements were made for Meador to take the polygraph test. According to court documents, before taking the test, Meador asked authorities how he could go about deleting items from one of his email accounts.

Authorities say after the conversation, they had a preservation letter served on Google relating to the contents of the email account.

Before the test, Meador signed written statements in which he admitted to downloading and saving child porn videos.

According to court documents, he said he had been looking at child porn for about four years.

He allegedly said he had never traded images of child porn with anyone else. He also allegedly admitted that he had thought about having sexual interactions with children, but had never actually did it.

The FBI polygraph examiner stated in court documents that after an initial review of Meador's test results, they showed signs of deception when answering questions about sexual contact or conduct with minors.
