Pinckneyville Community Hospital given green light to move into new facility

PINCKNEYVILLE, IL (KFVS) -

The Pinckneyville Community Hospital has received approval from the state to move into its new $26-million facility.

PCH Administrator Randy Dauby  said the move in process was delayed several weeks pending state approval of the new facility.

The state’s inspection found several issues with doors and the fire alarm system that did not meet code.

Dauby said those issues have been resolved but have delayed the project about a month.

PCH will begin the process of moving equipment into the new facility over the next several weeks.

Dauby said PCH would like to begin operations in the new hospital by Mid-September 2015.
