MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Two Western Kentucky teens suffer only minor injuries after a single-vehicle rollover crash in McCracken County.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, a car driven by 16-year-old Kaley Jones, of Kevil, swerved off Clinton Road on Monday night after she reportedly tried to avoid an animal in the road.

Deputies say Jones' 2003 Toyota Camry went off the road, struck a mailbox, then hit a driveway causing the car to overturn side over side before hitting a tree.

Jones was taken by ambulance to Western Baptist Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Her passenger, 18-year-old Zachery Timmons, of Paducah, was taken by private vehicle for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
