Two Anna schools host Back-to-School nights

ANNA, IL (KFVS) -

Grade school kids and their parents in Anna, Illinois can get ready for the new school year at upcoming back-to-school nights.

Davie Elementary will hold its event Tuesday, August 11 with times as follows:

  • 3rd grade - 5:30 p.m.
  • 4th grade - 6 p.m.

Lincoln Elementary will hold its event Thursday, August 13 with start times as follows:

  • Pre-K - 5 p.m.
  • Kindergarten - 5:30 p.m.
  • 1st grade - 6 p.m.
  • 2nd grade - 6:30 p.m.

School leaders ask that you please stick to this schedule when you bring your little ones.

Both nights will include food, fun, and free school supplies.

Mark Laster, Principal for Anna CCSD #37 says these will be "great nights to meet the awesome friends, faculty and staff of Lincoln and Davie Elementary Schools, and to become acquainted with the buildings as well."
