Calling all Corvettes for Sept. car show in Paducah

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

If you love Corvettes, or simply love cars, mark Sept. 12 on your calendar.

"Corvettes on the River 2015" will start at 9 a.m. that day and run until 3 p.m. This marks the 14 year for the judged show. The all Corvette car show will be at Paducah's Riverfront at 2nd and Jefferson streets and will benefit Cassidy's Cause.

On Friday night from 5-8 p.m. there will be a meet and greet at Royal Oaks Chevrolet Cadillac at 3417 Park Avenue. Food, drink, and music will be provided.  Registration before Aug. 31 is $25, after Aug. 31 it goes up to $30.

    The person of interest in the double-murder and bank robbery in Conway on Monday is in custody. Brandon MIchael Council was arrested in Greenville, North Carolina Wednesday, along with two other people, authorities there confirmed.  Brandon Michael Council was wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of two CresCom bank employees during a bank robbery at the CresCom Bank in Conway on Monday afternoon.
