Colorado fugitive arrested in Paducah home

Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department say an anonymous tip led to the arrest of a Colorado escapee.

On Aug. 3, deputies received a tip about a wanted fugitive. They said that a wanted Colorado escapee was possibly living in the Paducah area with family.

According to the tipster, they believed the family was unaware that the person was wanted by Colorado authorities.

The investigation revealed that Aaron Gage Green, 21, was staying with family at a home on Kentucky Avenue in Paducah.

Deputies say Green was wanted by Colorado authorities for escape, and also had a local warrant for failure to appear in a 2012 McCracken County traffic court case.

At 4:06 p.m. deputies went to the home Kentucky Ave. They say Green surrendered without incident.

He was taken to the McCracken Regional Jail for failure to appear in McCracken Co. District Court for no seat belt and failure to produce an insurance card, also for fugitive from another state - escape and theft related felony offenses.
