Four people are in custody after a robbery and shooting in Paducah on Thursday night that happened near a planned Movie in the Park night.

It happened at Noble Park near Shelter 20 around 8:17 p.m. which is about 100-150 yards from the amphitheater. Movie in the Park was set to begin and authorities had to evacuate the park after one man was shot in the ankle.

Police were searching for Ellas Mobley, 18. They say he turned himself in around 5:50 p.m. on Friday.

Mobley is charged in a warrant with first-degree assault and first-degree robbery.

James Burlingame, 20, was arrested on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree robbery.

Austin Cunningham, 19, was arrested on a charge of first-degree robbery.

A 17-year-old girl was charged with complicity to first-degree robbery.

Jonathan C. Riley, 23, was found with a gunshot wound to his ankle.

Paducah police say Riley had gone to the park to buy drugs from Cunningham. Riley told police that a car pulled up and Cunningham and Mobley got out and demanded money from him. Riley said Mobley pulled a handgun and they struggled with each other. He said Mobley fired several shots. One of those struck Riley in the ankle.

Riley told police that Cunningham and Mobley got back in the vehicle to leave, but it stalled a short distance away. Riley said he ran after them and beat on the car. Then, Riley said Burlingame started shooting at him from inside the car.

That's when Riley said Cunningham, Mobley, Burlingame, and a 17-year-old girl who was in the car ran toward a wooded area of the park.

Officers and two K-9 units tracked the suspects through the park and toward 32nd and Trimble streets.

Burlingame and the girl were found on Cairo Road near Potter Street.

Officers found Cunningham in  the bushes near the parking lot of Baptist Health Paducah.

Police are searching for Mobley. Call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL in formation. Tipsters can also access the online tip form. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
