Kennett man seriously hurt in crash

DUNKLIN COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A passenger in a truck is seriously injured in a crash Thursday afternoon in Dunklin County, MO.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Robert W. Cunningham of Kennett was thrown from a 1989 Dodge Dakota truck during a crash on U.S. 62 south of Malden.

Troopers say the driver, Ronnie D. Cunningham of Kennett, was heading southbound and for some reason drove off the left side of the road.

The truck overturned throwing Robert Cunningham from the passenger seat of the truck.

He was flown to a Memphis, Tenn. hospital and his condition is not known at this time.

Ronnie Cunningham was not hurt in the crash and troopers report was he wearing a seat belt, but Robert Cunningham was not.
