GREENVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

Mark down Sept. 19 and 20 on your calendar. You're going to want to make the drive to the Greenville Recreation Area to attend Old Greenville Days.

It's the 24th year for the event that attracts hundreds of people.

It's a family-oriented outing that includes a Civil War black powder rendezvous living history encampment, craft shows, and live entertainment.

Some of southeast Missouri's finest musicians will play bluegrass and gospel music.

Magic will be performed by Charlie Choo Choo and Bo Bo the Clown.

The kids can play old-time childrens' games, and you can take a shot at a basket auction.

If you're interested in being a crafter at Old Greenville Days, call Park Ranger Andrew Jefferson at 573-222-8562 or email him at Andrew.Jefferson@usace.army.mil.

The Greenville Recreation Area is just two miles south of Greenville, Missouri on U.S. Highway 67.
