A Carbondale, Illinois man is accused of attacking police officers, possibly breaking one officer's jaw.

Salim P. Baker, 35, was charged with trespassing and aggravated battery to a police officer.

According to Carbondale police, they responded to the 400 block of East Chestnut Street at around 12:30 p.m. on July 24 for a report of some allegedly trespassing inside of a home and a vehicle.
