Reports of shots fired keep Cape Girardeau cops busy overnight

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The Cape Girardeau Police Department is investigating several reports of guns fired over the course of Monday evening.

The incidents happened at three different locations.

Sgt. Adam Glueck reports the first set of calls came in just before 6 p.m. in regards to a shooting around the 1000 block of Bloomfield and Good Hope.

Police officers were dispatched a second time after more reports of a shooting near the intersection of Linden and Ellis around 7:15 p.m.

The police department is also investigating a third report of shots fired near the area of Middle and Washington Streets around 2 a.m.

Glueck reports no one was hurt during these incidents and at this time no one is in custody.
