(KFVS) - Let's head back to the 80s.
These were the songs being played on the radio and in boom boxes this week in 1984.
Billboard's Hot 100 had The Pointer Sisters at number five with "Jump (For My Love)."
Punk rocker Billy Idol was locked in at number for with "Eyes Without a Face."
Who ya gonna call? Ray Parker Junior was dialed in at number 3 with the theme from "Ghostbusters."
In the runner-up spot was Bruce Springsteen and the lead off single from his Born in the USA album. "Dancing in the Dark" spent four weeks at number two and is Springsteen's biggest hit. Believe it or not, he's never had a number one song.
In the top spot was Prince with "When Doves Cry." It spent five weeks at number one becoming the biggest hit of Prince's career. Billboard would later rank it as the number one song of 1984.
