(KFVS) - Twenties or 30s, younger or older? What's the best age to get married to avoid divorce?
A study by the Institute for Family Studies estimates the divorce risk by age, within the first five years of marriage.
According to their results, the lowest risk of divorce between 2006 and 2010 were among the 30-34 age range, followed by the 25-29 age range. Those younger and older than that had a higher risk, with the highest being among couples that got married when they were younger than 20 years old.
The study also compared the percentage of divorce in couples in 1995 to that of couples from 2006 to 2010.
