Students use car wash to raise money for cheerleading team

BENTON, MO (KFVS) - These girls from Kelly High School are staying cool today by washing cars in Benton.

These 16 students are part of the Kelly High School cheerleading team and were washing cars on Saturday.

They are accepting donations for choreography lessons, gear and other necessary items for their cheerleading team for this upcoming school year.

Kelly High School brought home their first cheerleading national championship back in January.

Coach Billy Hoskins says it's these car washes that can provide the donations that can provide gear and equipment that can better serve the tam in competitions.
