Mo. teen killed in ATV crash

STE. GENEVIEVE COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

An ATV crash in Ste. Genevieve County claims the life of a 19-year-old Tuesday evening.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Cole J. Heberlie of Ste. Genevieve was driving a 2014 Yamaha Grizzly 550 and missed a curve in the road.

The ATV went off the right side of the road, causing Heberlie to hit two trees.

He died at the scene.

The crash happened on White Sands Road nearly two-miles from Sugar Bottom Road around 6:30 p.m.

Troopers report Heberlie was not wearing a helmet.
