STEELE, MO (KFVS) - A Steele man faces a first degree robbery charge.
Marquel Lawless, 21, was arrested on July 11 after police say he robbed a man on June 30.
Steele Police Chief Billy Joe Stanfield along with his officers and Pemiscot County deputies arrested Lawless on an active warrant at a home on Smith Street in Steele, Mo.
Lawless is charged with first degree robbery and a parole violation.
Police investigated his involvement in an alleged robbery that occurred on June 30 when a 37-year-old man from Steele was assaulted and robbed by two men as he was walking on North First Street.
Marquel Lawless was taken to the Pemiscot County Jail with $100,000 bond.
