PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Over the past several weeks, an open and ongoing investigation has been taking place at the UPS facility located at 3921 Benton Road in Paducah, KY.

The investigation began between UPS investigators and sheriff's detectives after several packages containing controlled substance medication was stolen from the facility.

On Wednesday, investigators interviewed Charles W. Cadwell, 36, from Paducah, who admitted that he had stolen three different packages since December of 2014.

One of the packages contained Oxycontin and the other Hydrocodone.

A search of Cadwell's person revealed a plastic bag containing approximately 75-80 mg in Oxycontin pills that he admitted to have taken from work approximately a week before.

A search of his vehicle revealed two bottles of Tizanidine, medication that had also been stolen from the UPS facility.

Cadwell was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail without incident.
