(KFVS) - Let's travel back in time to this week 33 years ago.

The year was 1982 and the Cardinals were on their way to their first World Series Championship in 15 years.

Other headlines from that summer: Prince Charles and Princess Diana became parents as Prince William was born.

"E.T. the Extra Terrestrial" was on its way to becoming the biggest movie of the year.

These were the songs being played on the radio.

Billboard Magazine's Hot 100 had Survivor at number five with the theme song from "Rocky 3," "Eye of the Tiger."

At number four was the group Asia with "Heat of the Moment."

Checking in at number three was John Cougar with "Hurts So Good."

Toto was holding down the number two spot with "Rosanna."

And in the top spot The Human League with "Don't You Want Me." It was the first song featuring a drum machine to reach the number one position on the music charts.
