In the number three spot was the group Next with "Too Close."
At number two was the biggest charting single of Shania Twain. Although "You're Still the One" never topped the pop charts, it was a number 1 country smash.
And in the number one position was a duet between two megastars at the time. Brandy and Monica with an answer song to Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney's 1982 duet "The Girl Is Mine." "The Boy is Mine" spent 13 weeks in the top spot.
